Outstanding Scholar Alumni Award
Criteria: The Outstanding Scholar Alumni Award recognizes graduates of the University Scholars Program and the Schreyer Honors College who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills, professional achievement, and a passion for lifelong learning.
Eligibility: All graduates of the University Scholars Program and Schreyer Honors College who have met and fulfilled the requirements to earn an honors diploma from The Pennsylvania State University are eligible for nomination.
Nominate a Scholar Alumni
Nominations are accepted between November 1 and January 31 of each year with winners selected during the spring meeting of the Scholar Alumni Society Board.
The OSA awards are presented during the College’s Alumni and Faculty Awards Program in the fall of each year.
Recipients of the award include:
- 2009: Kevin D. Frick '91 H&HD and Kelly A. Ayotte '90 Lib
- 2008: Stephanie Hulina ’92 Lib and John Woerner ’91 Bus
- 2007: Ann Hsu ’89 Eng and Richard Spontak ’83 Eng
- 2006: Mary Beth Long ’85 Com and Doug Evans ’86 Eng
