Spring Honors Preview

The 2012 Spring Honors Preview for high school juniors was held at University Park. The day included an introduction to the Schreyer Honors College, an information session with representatives of several of Penn State's academic colleges, and tours of campus and the honors community.

Upcoming Events for Future Scholars
There are many upcoming opportunities for high school juniors to find out more about the Schreyer Honors College (SHC) and Penn State.

Spend a Summer Day is the main summer visitation event for prospective Penn State students. Information and registration will be available on the Undergraduate Admissions Office website in May. All academic units, including the SHC, offer 50-minute presentations each morning and afternoon as part of the full-day program. Plan to attend one of our information sessions during your visit.

Summer Honors Close-up will be held on Monday, June 18, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. It repeats the Spring Honors Preview program.

Scholars Day is designed for high school seniors but juniors are also welcome. It is your opportunity to take a closer look at both the Schreyer Honors College and a specific college at Penn State that matches your academic and career aspirations. You'll get an overview of the SHC, meet our staff and students, tour the central part of campus, and visit another college during your day at University Park. Registration will be available on this website in August.

Prospective students may schedule a Penn State visit via the Undergraduate Admissions Office website, and then contact the SHC office at 814-865-2060 to schedule an individual information session.
