The honors thesis is the culmination of your Honors College experience at Penn State.
The Honors Thesis Project Guide can help you:
- Identify a thesis topic and adviser
- Develop a thesis schedule
- Prepare and format your thesis
- Publish your thesis research
Well before you submit your thesis, please use the Electronic Thesis Submission Guide to inform you of the submission process.
Thesis Submission Deadlines
Fall 2009
- Mandatory Thesis Format review due - Monday, November 16 by midnight
- Final Thesis submission due - Monday, November 30 by midnight
Spring 2010
- Mandatory Thesis Format review due - Monday, March 29, 2010 by midnight
- Final Thesis submission due - Monday, April 19, 2010 by midnight
Summer 2010
- Mandatory Thesis Format review due - Monday, July 19, 2010 by midnight
- Final Thesis submission due - Monday, August 2, 2010 by midnight
Submitting Your Thesis Early
Theses may be submitted to the Schreyer Honors College prior to your intended semester of graduation if you will be student teaching or studying abroad. If you submit your thesis early, please note the correct semester of graduation on your thesis title page.
