The goal of the Schreyer Honors College - Society for Distinguished Alumni Mentor Program is to facilitate reciprocal, one-on-one relationships in which a Schreyer Scholar may gain a role model, a trusted adviser, a guide, and a wise friend while the Distinguished Alumna/us may gain a fresh, personal connection to Penn State, tangible evidence of his/her impact on the future, and satisfaction in nurturing the potential of a talented, committed young leader. The mentoring relationship is a one-year commitment made by both the protégé and the mentor to create and develop a relationship that we hope will be a mutually beneficial professional and life-changing experience. It is not uncommon that the mentor and protégé mutually agree to continue their mentoring relationship for longer periods of time. [more info...]

The Schreyer Honors College seeks approximately 100 outstanding students to serve as Orientation Mentors for FTCAP in May and/or SHO TIME (Schreyer Honors Orientation) in August for incoming Scholars. [more info...]
