Writing a Research Statement-STEM Graduate Funding

Juniors and seniors who are considering pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education are encouraged to participate in a workshop hosted by the the University Fellowships Office to assist with early drafts of your Personal, Relevant Background and Future Goals and Graduate Research Plan Statements.  We will discuss best practices and common issues for each, and plan to do so amidst collaborative brainstorming and editing.

Eligibility: First year graduate students and undergraduate juniors/seniors who are US Citizens or Permanent Residents pursuing/planning to pursue research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education are likely eligible to apply. Specifics for NSF GRFP eligibility are outlined here.
