I am majoring in Engineering. I am a member of the Scholar Ambassador Team, 2018 Schreyer Honors College “My Backyard” Service Project committee member, 2018 “Food for Thought: An Evening of Sustainable Eating” Graphic Designer and Marketing Director, 2018 Eco-Action Earth Day Graphic Designer and Executive Committee Member and team member of the Department of Civil Engineering’s Nature-Like fish Passage Lab. I am also involved in the Penn State American Society of Civil Engineers chapter, and Schreyer Career Development Team. Additionally, during breaks from college I am a volunteer at my elementary school as a guest art teacher and help to run Lycoming County’s Model United Nations Conference in the spring.

My name is Bridget Foresman and I am a sophomore scholar studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology on a Pre-Med track, with an intended minor in Mathematics. I live about an hour away from State College in a small town outside of Williamsport, PA, where I attended a small Catholic school that cultivated my love of service and leadership.  I found this passion for leadership and service through the various opportunities provided to me by extracurricular activities such as Student Council, National Honor Society, Academic Decathlon, Leo Club, as well as through my involvement with my church. Upon arriving to State College, I immediately submerged myself in the multitude of service and leadership opportunities provided by Penn State, and more specifically the Schreyer Honors College.  Throughout freshman year, I slowly whittled my involvement down to organizations that I was truly passionate about, and have found a home as a member of Schreyer for Women and the Scholar Ambassador Team, as well as the Social Director of the Schreyer Student Council and the Executive Social Chair of Global Brigades. In my free time, I enjoy studying and hanging out with my friends, going to the gym, listening to every genre of music, as well as spending a majority of my time and money at Starbucks and Fiddlehead.

If this doesn't already sound like a lot, I have also involved myself in MANY clubs and organizations on campus.  I am a member of two choirs within the School of Music, the Glee Club and Essence of Joy.  I also serve as a Co-Family Relations Chair for the THON org affiliated with the Glee Club, Oriana Singers and Glee Club (OGC) Benefitting THON.  Along with this, I am a Programming Board member of the Blue & White Society, the student membership of the Penn State Alumni Association.  In my role, I help with the planning of events that the club has throughout the year, such as getting in contact with people for food vendors and entertainment.  If I ever do find to have a bit of free time within my busy schedule, I like to watch movies, hang out with friends on- or off- campus, or listen to music.

Hello, my name is Andrew Pei and I am a sophomore majoring in Chemical Engineering while minoring in Environmental Engineering and Economics. I am from Lansdale, PA, about 40 minutes northwest of Philadelphia, where I graduated from North Penn High School. On campus, I am heavily involved in the Moringa research lab, which focuses on developing a sustainable water filter using seeds from the tropical Moringa oleifera tree. As part of this lab, I have traveled to Fort Myers, Florida to conduct field research, presented my research at the United Nations Headquarters, and conducted full-time research over the summer. Additionally, I am the stringer for the Penn State Division I men's and women's tennis teams and work in Campus Recreation at the Penn State Indoor Tennis Center, where I have the opportunity to interact with students, student athletes, and community members that come together to share their love for tennis. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, watching Eagles football, and traveling with family and friends.

My name is Anastasia Wagner and I am a double major in Political Science and French & Francophone Studies. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA, so not too far from home here at State! I'm involved in a couple different groups on campus, but my favorite clubs are the College Democrats and the Knittany Lions, the Penn State knitting club. Through the College Democrats, I've been part of a group that organizes and mobilizes the Centre County community to volunteer with the various campaigns in the region. For the midterm elections, I've been part a team that runs a nearby staging location, the place where all volunteers are trained and organized for door-knocking on the weekends leading up to the election itself. It's been one of the most fun and fulfilling things that I've done here at Penn State. In my free time, I spend time with my friends, exploring downtown State College, and knitting!
