Hello Schreyer Scholars! My name is Taylor Pust, and I am so excited to be one of your Scholar Assistants this year! I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I definitely consider Happy Valley to be my second home. I plan on double majoring in Neuroscience and Neuropsychology, with the hopes of attending medical school after graduation.

I love being involved in a myriad of organizations and clubs on campus, especially because I get to meet a lot of new people! I am currently involved with Schreyer Student Council, THON, and some pre-med societies, such as Alpha Epsilon Delta.

Schreyer has provided me with so many opportunities, which have helped me make the most out of my college experience. I hope that I can help you get the most out of Schreyer, especially with events and opportunities that align with your passions. As a Scholar Assistant, I truly want you to take advantage of what Schreyer has to offer and become part of the motivating and supportive network that comes with it.

You can find me studying in the Paterno Lounge, attending workout classes at the White Building, or hanging out with friends at PSU football games. Elizabeth Weiland headshot

Elizabeth Weiland Supply Chain Management

Hello Schreyer Scholars! My name is Elizabeth Weiland, and I am beyond excited to serve as your Career Development Scholar Assistant this year. I am from the small town of Claysburg, Pennsylvania, and I am majoring in Supply Chain Management with minors in International Business and Spanish.

One of the main reasons I chose Penn State –and specifically Schreyer –was because of the countless opportunities here to learn something new and pursue passions. Because of this, I am currently active with Alpha Kappa Psi Co-Ed Professional Business Fraternity, the Consultant Training Program, Schreyer Consulting Group (Director of Alumni Relations), and Schreyer Student Council (Active Service Chair). The summer following my senior year of high school, I had the opportunity to intern in the Human Resources Department at Sheetz, and this summer, I will be a procurement intern in the Global Logistics and Distribution Department at Ingersoll Rand. Outside of academics and career development, I love hanging out with people and researching cities I will hopefully travel to one day.

The amazing mentors in Schreyer have pushed me to continually develop my best self, and I couldn’t imagine college without this incredible Schreyer culture and community. I want to help you the way that others have helped me, so please reach out to me at with any questions, comments, or concerns! I am always here to talk about classes, career development, college, and life in general. I look forward to meeting you and spending another wonderful year at Penn State!
