Schreyer Honors College (SHC)at Penn State

Campaign Committee

The Schreyer Honors College Campaign Committee leads the College's efforts in raising private support to sustain and enhance one of the leading honors programs in the nation. The Campaign Committee is a function of the Schreyer Honors College's External Advisory Board.

Since 2007, the commitee has been focused on raising the Schreyer Honors College's $54 million goal in support of the University's $2 billion capital campaign, For the Future: The Campaign for Penn State Students.

A pillar of the campaign is "Enhancing Honors Education", a $100 million goal that encompasses honors initiatives across the University, including those within the Schreyer Honors College. The college reached its goal in December 2013. Campaign gifts in support of the SHC funded scholars, new initiatives including the Distinguished Honors Faculty Program and the Shaping the Future Summit, the PNC Leadership Development Center, and other program enhancements.

The campaign is set to conclude on June 30, 2014.
