Each year, some of our Schreyer Honors College Scholars face unforeseen circumstances that disrupt their educational goals. With the rigorous schedules of these students, there is never a right time for something to go wrong. Our students come from every corner of the world, and any number of emergencies — such as the death of a parent or a national disaster — can threaten our Scholars’ abilities to complete their Penn State degrees.
Giving to the Schreyer Honors College Emergency Grants Campaign helps Scholars through hardships that may otherwise impede their progress at Penn State. Please watch the video above to hear about how you can impact the lives of these students. Here are just a few examples of what your support can provide:
One semester of parking for a commuter student
Lab supplies, practical fees, or software licenses
The primary text book for an entry-level course
One month of an on-campus meal plan for students
Approximately one-eighth of a semester of in-state tuition for Scholars
Each gift, no matter the size, can help our Scholars. Consider making a gift today to ensure nothing keeps our Scholars from focusing on their goals and completing their Penn State degrees.
