- Thursday, March 24, 2022
- 6:30 PM- 8:30 PM
- Atherton Hall: Room C9
The impact of the pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa remains markedly lower compared to the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Several factors have been brought forth as potentially influencing the low burden of Covid-19 illness e.g. age demographics, potential cross-protection from earlier exposure, limitations of SARS-CoV-2 testing, effective public health responses etc. In this event, we will discuss these possible explanations as backed by scientific literature and potential implications to the business environment. Dinner will be provided.
