  • 9:00 AM- 9:45 AM
  • Bryce Jordan Center

At the end of each semester, the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State hosts a special ceremony to honor the achievements of graduating Schreyer Scholars. It is a time-honored, celebratory tradition with parents, families, friends, faculty members, staff, and other special guests in attendance.

At the ceremony, graduates are presented with the Scholars medal, created by John A. Cook, professor emeritus of art in the College of Arts and Architecture. The medal is engraved with the phrases "Scholarly Achievement," "Integrity of Purpose," and "Intellectual Curiosity."

Tickets are not required to attend this event. Please note that there is a reception at 8 a.m. prior to the ceremony for graduating Scholars, their guests, and invited attendees.

Undergraduate cap and gown are required for Scholars participating in the Medals Ceremony and can be purchased at the Penn State Bookstore.
