L.E.A.D. Wellness Workshop - "Burnout, Balance and Belonging"

  • Monday, November 14, 2022
  • 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM
  • Zoom

Scholars are invited to participate in the Schreyer Honors College Learning to L.E.A.D. series designed and led by CAPS. Learning to L.E.A.D. is a series of interactive, web-based workshops focused on the health and wellness of all Schreyer Scholars. These workshops, designed and facilitated by CAPS with input from Honors College staff, will provide tools to help you thrive as a Scholar, an ally, and a friend. You will learn coping strategies to manage the stressors facing college students today.

In this third workshop, we will discuss that to be the best versions of yourselves and find belonging in your collegiate experience, we must approach our collegiate life with Balance. Like many success tools, Balance can help prevent you from burning out as a student. Part one will focus on establishing Balance, the importance of Balance, and how it impacts belonging.

These conversations will not be recorded, so you will want to RSVP today and all who RSVP will receive the ZOOM link via email. Feel free to share this with your friends in Schreyer and remind them they must RSVP at this link. All participants will receive an e-gift card a week following each workshop.

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming spring 2023 workshops and be sure to RSVP at the web events:

Monday, February 6, 2023 - "Help with Healing"

Monday, March 20, 2023 - "Burnout, Balance and Belonging II"

Monday, April 3, 2023 - "Creating Confidence"

The honors women's studies class I'm taking right now is phenomenal. Every day I go to the class is really eye-opening. I don't know if I would have gotten that experience without being in Schreyer.
