L.E.A.D. Wellness Workshop - "Help with Healing"

  • Monday, February 6, 2023
  • 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM
  • Zoom

Scholars are invited to participate in the Schreyer Honors College Learning to L.E.A.D. series designed and led by CAPS. Learning to L.E.A.D. is a series of interactive, web-based workshops focused on the health and wellness of all Schreyer Scholars. These workshops, designed and facilitated by CAPS with input from Honors College staff, will provide tools to help you thrive as a Scholar, an ally, and a friend. You will learn coping strategies to manage the stressors facing college students today.

In this first session of the spring 2023 semester, we will hold space for the myriad challenges you carry with you into the new year. You can expect to learn strategies to support your journey forward from these traumas.

These conversations will not be recorded, so you will want to RSVP today and all who RSVP will receive the ZOOM link via email. Feel free to share this with your friends in Schreyer and remind them they must RSVP at this link. All participants will receive an e-gift card a week following each workshop.

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming workshops in the spring 2023 semester and be sure to RSVP at the web events:

Monday, March 20, 2023 - "Burnout, Balance and Belonging II"

Monday, April 3, 2023 - "Creating Confidence"

I have two older brothers who graduated from the Honors College, and I was able to see them go through their college experience and all the opportunities they had. I visited them a few times in Atherton Hall, which made me fall in love with the College. I saw this as a place where I can find great opportunities and do some really great things.
