Fall 2022 Medals Ceremony

At the end of each semester, the Schreyer Honors College holds a special ceremony to honor graduating Schreyer Scholars. At the ceremony, graduates are presented with the Scholars medal, created by John A. Cook, professor emeritus of art in the College of Arts and Architecture. The medal is engraved with the phrases "Scholarly Achievement," "Integrity of Purpose," and "Intellectual Curiosity."

Tickets are not required to attend. There will be a reception immediately following the ceremony.

Undergraduate cap and gown are required for the Medals Ceremony and can be purchased at the Penn State Bookstore.

I have two older brothers who graduated from the Honors College, and I was able to see them go through their college experience and all the opportunities they had. I visited them a few times in Atherton Hall, which made me fall in love with the College. I saw this as a place where I can find great opportunities and do some really great things.
