  • 5:30 PM- 7:45 PM
  • C-9 Atherton Hall

The changing global environment is the quintessential intergenerational challenge of our times. We all breathe the same air and walk on the same earth however, we may not all feel the same ecological duty to our environment. Is age a factor in this?

During this discussion we want to explore the question: can intergenerational cooperation limit climate change? We will also explore effective strategies for getting people to care about climate change regardless of age.

At this discussion, there will be two innovative environmental educators and activists! Come to this discussion with your thoughts and opinions while enjoying a catered dinner!

Schreyer Scholar Lisa Gardner

I chose Schreyer because I wanted access to world-class educational opportunities and international experiences, but I also wanted to be a part of a smaller community. Schreyer has served as my home base as I have navigated all the amazing things that Penn State has to offer.
