DHFP: A Scientific Approach to the Unknown World

  • Tuesday, January 28, 2020
  • 5:30 PM- 8:00 PM
  • Grandfather Clock Lounge, Atherton Hall
There is so much to life that has yet to be explained. How much do we really know about the Holographic Universe? The cosmic word? The “Next World” after death? Come join Dr. Uchino and learn about his approach to “New Science” as an engineering professor. In part I of this discussion, Dr. Uchino will talk about how Nobel Prize winners such as Einstein, Bohr, and Schlödinger developed their theories coupled with Oriental Religion. After the concept evolution from quantum physics to superstring models, Dr. Uchino will lead a discussion about the Holographic Universe and the cosmic world. In the latter part of the discussion, Dr. Uchino will introduce the key aspects in “Zen” Buddhism, in order to reach the “Satori (Enlightenment)” status. A catered dinner will be provided!

My favorite part of Schreyer is all the connections I've established and made. I've met so many awesome people. I feel like I fit in here.
