As a company executive in both Japan and the US, Dr. Uchino experienced various differences in research, business strategies, and ethical viewpoints. Uchino also found a significant dilemma in promoting US Navy-Japan collaborative projects/programs while serving as a ‘Navy Ambassador’ to Japan. What the practical differences are, and how these differences have been created, will be discussed from historical viewpoints post-WWII. This is the ‘must’ for engineering and business/administration students who are interested in operating a company globally, and also the key to setting up an international research program as a government program officer.

I know that in Schreyer, I have a community that embodies everything there is to love about Penn State.  Whether it's sharing our passionate blue and white spirit at the football games or collaborating on team projects for honors classes, the family I have made in Schreyer has certainly shaped my Penn State experience.
