L.E.A.D. Wellness Workshop: Perfecting Imperfection

  • Monday, March 1, 2021
  • 5:00 PM- 6:00 PM
  • Virtual

The Schreyer Honors College is proud to announce the spring 2021 "Learning to L.E.A.D Wellness Series." Learning to L.E.A.D. is a series of interactive, web-based workshops focused on Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy, and Diversity awareness and skills! These workshops, designed and facilitated by CAPS with input from current Schreyer Scholars, will provide tools to help you thrive as a Scholar, an ally, and a friend. You will learn coping strategies to manage the stressors facing college students today from the impact of COVID-19 to final exams.

At this second workshop, you will explore the gifts of imperfection, and the benefits of self-care. All are welcome-you do not need to have attended Part 1 to participate.

These conversations will not be recorded, so you will want to RSVP today. All Scholars who RSVP by 4:00 p.m. will receive the ZOOM link. Feel free to share this with your friends in Schreyer and remind them they must RSVP at this link. All participants who stay for the entire hour will receive an e-gift card following each session.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the following future workshops in this series. Each event is scheduled from 5-6 p.m.:

Monday, March 29 - Interview with Impact

Develop strategies to effectively network and engage with potential employers via ZOOM.

Monday, April 19 - Creating Confidence

Practice ways to increase your sense of self-efficacy and combat imposter phenomenon.

I have two older brothers who graduated from the Honors College, and I was able to see them go through their college experience and all the opportunities they had. I visited them a few times in Atherton Hall, which made me fall in love with the College. I saw this as a place where I can find great opportunities and do some really great things.
