A discussion led by Dr. Ming Xiao (Penn State) and Dr. Raed Lubbad (Norwegian University of Science and Technology)
The unprecedented and rapid climate warming in the Arctic is transforming its natural environment and affecting the infrastructure and local communities; such changes have global consequences. In this discussion, students of Penn State and European universities will join together to learn and discuss the global perspectives of the impacts of climate change on natural environment, infrastructure, and society in the Arctic. The discussion will be led by Dr. Ming Xiao at Penn State and Dr. Raed Lubbad at Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Please note: Registration for events in this series is required and, given the topics and speakers, we anticipate interest to be high.
