In this discussion, students of Penn State and European universities will join together to learn and discuss the global perspectives of the impacts of climate change on natural environment, infrastructure, and society in the Arctic. The discussion will be led by Dr. Ming Xiao at Penn State and Dr. Raed Lubbad at Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Please note: Registration for events in this series is required and, given the topics and speakers, we anticipate interest to be high. For this reason, each event is limited to 25 students and early registration is strongly encouraged. Scholar attendees will receive a complimentary electronic gift card.

I chose Schreyer because it is one of the top-rated honors programs in the country. I knew it would make a large community such as Penn State feel smaller, and more intimate.
