L.E.A.D. Wellness Workshop - "Put Off Procrastination"

The Schreyer Honors College is proud to announce the continuation of the Learning to L.E.A.D. series designed and led by CAPS. Learning to L.E.A.D. is a series of interactive, web-based workshops focused on the health and wellness of all Schreyer Scholars. These workshops, designed and facilitated by CAPS with input from current Schreyer Scholars, will provide tools to help you thrive as a Scholar, an ally, and a friend. You will learn coping strategies to manage the stressors facing college students today.

At this second workshop of the fall 2021 semester, "Put Off Procrastination" you can expect to explore common reasons that college students procrastinate and learn time management tools to help you stay on task and on schedule.

These conversations will not be recorded, so you will want to RSVP today and all who RSVP will receive the ZOOM link via email. Feel free to share this with your friends in Schreyer and remind them they must RSVP at this link. All participants will receive an e-gift card a week following each session.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the following future workshops in this series. Each event is scheduled from 5-6 p.m. and you must RSVP at each individual workshop in order to receive the ZOOM link to the workshop:

Monday, November 15 - Perfecting imperfection

In this final session of the fall 2021 semester, we will discuss the pressure we put on ourselves to perform. You can expect to develop skills you can use to shift your relationship with success.

Monday, February 7, 2022 - Help with Healing

In this first session of the spring 2022 semester, we will hold space for the myriad challenges you carry with you into the new year. You can expect to learn strategies to support your journey forward from hardships and adversity.

Thursday, March 21, 2022 - Failing Forward

In this session,you can expect to discuss common reactions to feelings of confusion, disappointment, and failure in college. We will also practice skills you can use to help navigate these difficult moments.

Monday, April 14, 2022 - Cultivating Confidence

In this final session of the spring 2022 semester, you can expect to learn about imposter phenomenon and consider what role they play in your life. We will also review tools that can help you develop a strong self of self-efficacy.
