Real-World Skills; Real-World Impact

Do you want to connect with others around a common goal, build professional and interpersonal skills, apply learning to real-world problems, and gain experience you can talk about in job or graduate school interviews? If so, you should explore experiential learning.

Experiential learning allows you to build knowledge and skills as you address real-world problems outside the classroom. It happens through thoughtful reflection on your work towards meaningful change for you and the community.

No matter how you would like to make a difference, Schreyer can help guide you. Together, we will explore how to connect your interests and values to your long-term goals, deepen experiential learning you are already doing, and discover opportunities you may not have known about or considered.

Funding Your Experiential Learning

If you are interested in opportunities but need funding to pursue them, Schreyer has grants available for many experiences that fall into experiential learning. Schreyer also has an Experiential Learning Project Grant, which can fund a project with a community partner. Contact Schreyer's Experiential Learning Coordinator to learn more.
