Your Next Hire is a Schreyer Scholar

While Schreyer Scholars make up just 2% of the Penn State student body, they have an outsized impact on the campus and community — overrepresented in both student leadership and prestigious award winners.

Schreyer Scholars are highly interdisciplinary, coming from all of Penn State's academic colleges. They are intentional about building connections — with their peers, with faculty, and with their communities. They're leaders who are driving meaningful change now. They're curious, lifelong learners who don't just ask "why?" but also "what's next?"

We set high standards and our students continually rise to meet them.

That's the energy they bring into their professional lives. Schreyer Scholars come into their organizations demonstrating the skills that might otherwise take several years to develop — leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking. They hit the ground running, and they elevate the work of those around them.
