Biography

Jason Godinez serves as Director of Development for the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, where he leads fundraising strategy, donor engagement, alumni relations, and campaign planning in support of the College’s highest priorities. A Penn State professional with nearly two decades of experience, Jason brings a broad institutional perspective shaped by prior roles in student aid, finance, and advancement. His work focuses on building meaningful philanthropic partnerships that expand access, strengthen student success, elevate academic innovation, and advance the long-term vision of the Honors College. Since joining Schreyer, Jason has helped position the College for significant campaign growth, strengthened collaboration across alumni and development functions, and advanced major gift conversations tied to scholarships, career development, leadership education, global experiences, and programmatic excellence. He is known for strategic relationship-building, disciplined execution, and a leadership approach centered on mission, momentum, and measurable impact.
