Michelle Powers

Biography

Michelle began her professional career at Penn State in 2008 and has served in a variety of administrative and leadership roles across the University. She joined the Schreyer Honors College in February 2016 as an administrative assistant supporting Admissions and later served as an administrative coordinator in the Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. She went on to serve as operations manager for Undergraduate Studies in the College of the Liberal Arts, before returning to the Schreyer Honors College in August 2026 as the dean’s executive assistant. In this role, she also serves as a liaison between the Honors College, other academic and administrative units across the University, and the College’s external advisory board, fostering communication among these key partners.
